Make note of two excellent educational events from the
International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA)

2014 IPA International Meeting

IPA in collaboration with the Peking Institute and the IPA Affiliate in China, CSP-PIG, will be hosting the IPA International Meeting in Beijing, October 23-26, 2014. YU Xin, organizing chair of the meeting, Huali Wang, IPA Board of Directors member and Scientific Committee chair, and the members of the scientific committee, have developed a thoughtful and informative program with the theme “Staying Engaged ‒ Practicing Learning throughout the Lifespan.”

The robust scientific program will feature Keynote Speaker Dilip Jeste of the University of California, San Diego (United States) addressing the topic, “Successful Aging and Wisdom.” Another plenary will include Joel Sadavoy of the University of Toronto speaking on “Culturally Appropriate Dementia Caregiver Intervention.” Many other world-renowned experts will speak about topics of great importance.

CAGP knows firsthand the unique quality of an IPA meeting.  Besides the outstanding scientific program, there will be many opportunities for all disciplines and experience to connect and collaborate with one another through the IPA Member Forums – discussion and work groups.  So, mark your calendar, submit an abstract today and pack your bags for Beijing.  Be sure to bring along your staff so they have the opportunity to experience the multi-disciplinary approach of IPA within the broad cultural environment.

Abstracts are due now – April 15, 2014
