CAGP 2007 Annual Scientific Meeting (Nov 14-15, 2007)
This year’s meeting was slightly different from previously as it consisted of a two-day conference. The 1st day was in French and the 2nd in English when the first day was more general while the second day tackled subjects more specific to geriatric psychiatrists. Both days were very well attended and it appears by now that the second day (November 15, 2007) broke the attendance record of previous years. The ASM was appreciated and the post-annual meeting was very well attended by the membership. All in all, it was a very interesting and worthwhile meeting for all involved. Montreal’s shopping was also prominent in everybody’s mind especially with the mild weather that we were enjoying in November. Thank God, the meeting did not occur 2 to 3 weeks later!
PLEASE NOTE: The CAGP cannot provide patients with the names of physicians providing care to patients. The Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons in most Canadian provinces and territories maintain a website for patients to find a physician by specialty. A list of these governing bodies is available on the Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada’s website.
