Plenary Speaker

Dr. Marie-France Tourigny-Rivard

SESSION: The Last and the Next 20 Years in Geriatric Psychiatry

Summarizing information provided by long-standing and new members of the CAGP and CCSMH, this presentation will provide an overview of key developments in the field of Geriatric Psychiatry over the last 20 years (Dr. MF Tourigny-Rivard) and propose priority areas and activities that would most improve the mental health of older adults in Canada in the next 20 years (Dr. MH Rivard). Participants will be encouraged to reflect on how these areas of focus can be integrated into their existing clinical, academic, administrative and advocacy activities.
