The Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry actively promotes initiatives focusing on the mental health of the Canadian elderly population.  As a national organization we recognize the growing need for geriatric psychiatrists evidenced in the growth of the elderly population and lack of access in many Canadian regions. Over the years the CAGP has offered support in the form of awards to psychiatry residents and residents in sub-specialty geriatric psychiatry programs. Your general donation will help CAGP achieve these goals and support our mission and vision. 

Donations pledged can also be directed towards the Canadian Coalition for Seniors' Mental Health (CCSMH). Your donation will help to fund important educational and advocacy projects in the areas of seniors' mental health, including delirium; depression; suicide prevention; mental health issues in long-term care; and best practices.
