Geriatric Psychiatry Online Course is Open!

GPOC is an international geriatric psychiatry online course tailored to residents, family physicians, psychiatrists and diverse allied health professionals. Our course covers key topics relating to the mental health of older adults. Each module begins with a topic overview. There are sessions on pharmacotherapy and sharing of tools and resources. The entire course can be done virtually in your own time, but there are also opportunities to meet with faculty, facilitators and other participants in our “Meet the Expert” sessions. Each module runs for one week, and participants will have access to the learning material for the year. Choose individual modules or take the entire course. Certificates from the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry are available upon completion. We are pleased to welcome back international participants this year! COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

FULL COURSE We recommend putting aside two hours per week / module for this course. The course does provide a "go at your own pace" curriculum. You will have access to the modules as they open, but they do not close. Therefore, access to the content will remain open.
