Discover the Nova Scotia Wineries that are enchanting the world!

We will whisk you away for an incomparable day of tasteful adventure in the heart of Nova Scotia wine country.

This North American one-of-a-kind excursion will visit two of the most storied and beautiful Nova Scotia wineries and share the story of Grand Pre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience first-hand the unique terroir that creates some of the most memorable wines in the world; learn about the region's history and rooted connection with food; and best of all, get a taste for why this region has a reputation as the centre of wine country in Atlantic Canada.

Enjoy the comfort and amenities of a modern-day  coach complete with an engaging, informative and entertaining guide with lots of special treats along the way.

Draft Itinerary

1:45pm: Bus Loading and Departure from Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel

  • Nova Scotia Wine Country coach
  • Guide on board
  • Each guest will receive a complimentary commemorative six-bottle wine bag

Off Highway 101 at Exit 10 and pass through the historic UNESCO community of Grand Pre where dykelands, originally cultivated by the Acadiens, were engineered to hold back the world’s highest tides to reveal the rich and fertile land.

3:00pm: Bus Arrives Luckett Vineyards

  • 1293 Grand Pre Road, Wallbrook, NS
  • http://luckettvineyards.com/
  • Disembark for tour and tasting
  • Extended tastings and wine by the glass available for additional purchase
  • Guests can walk the vineyard and browse in wine retail shop

3:50pm: Bus Departs Luckett Vineyards

3:55pm: Bus Arrives Landscape of Grand Pre View Park

  • Old Post Road, Grand Pre
  • UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Share the agricultural heritage of the region and the importance of our first farmers who cultivated grapes here in 1611 – perhaps where the North American wine industry was born!
 

4:05pm: Bus Departs

4:10pm: Bus Arrives Lightfoot and Wolfville Vineyards

  • 11143 Highway 1, Wolfville, NS

  • Disembark for tour and tasting
  • Extended tastings and wine by the glass available for additional purchase
  • Guests can walk the vineyard, enjoy a game of washer toss and browse wine retail shop
 

5:10pm: Bus Departs Lightfoot and Wolfville Vineyards

6:30pm: Bus Arrival and Disembark at Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
